Welcome to Free DevTools — free, client-side micro-tools. These terms are short and readable on purpose: no tracking clauses and no ad-network legalese, because we use neither.

Acceptance of these terms
By using Free DevTools and any of its tools you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Free service
All tools on Free DevTools are free of charge, with no sign-up, no paywall and no usage limits. We aim for high availability, but the service is provided "as is" and may be modified, interrupted or discontinued at any time.
Client-side tools & your content
All processing happens locally in your browser; your content never reaches our servers. You keep full ownership of everything you create or process with our tools — images, QR codes, links and generated code snippets. You are solely responsible for the content you encode and for how you use the output.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the tools to create content that is illegal, deceptive or harmful — for example QR codes or links pointing to malware, phishing or fraud. You also agree not to attempt to disrupt or abuse the website itself.
No warranty
The tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Always test generated QR codes and links before printing or publishing them.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Free DevTools shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use — or inability to use — the tools, including data loss or losses caused by unusable output.
Intellectual property
The website design, code and branding of Free DevTools are protected. Code snippets generated for you by the tools (for example the WhatsApp chat button) are free to use in any project, personal or commercial.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
